Terms of service (public offer)
This is the agreement between you and the administration of the UnitVPN Service. It is written in plain words, but it works as a public offer: signing up or paying means you accept it. The Russian version prevails.
Version of 19 October 2026
1. Definitions
1.1. “Service” or “UnitVPN”: the service of a secure internet connection through UnitVPN servers, the unitvpn.org website with its account area, and the UnitVPN apps.
1.2. “Administration”: the administration of the UnitVPN Service, which runs the Service, provides the services under this agreement and accepts payments through the payment agent. You can reach it through support (section 14 “Contacts”). On the site and in the apps Unit, the Service mascot, speaks on its behalf.
1.3. “User” or “you”: a person who created an account in the Service or uses it.
1.4. “Account”: the User’s account. Sign-in with email and password or with Google.
1.5. “Plan”: the access terms (traffic per month, number of devices, available servers, price) published on the site and in the account area.
1.6. “Balance”: the record of money the User paid into their Account to pay for Plans and extra devices. The Balance is not a bank account or an e-wallet, and no interest accrues on it.
1.7. “Bonus days”: subscription time received without paying money: with a promo code, through the referral programme, as a gift or as compensation.
1.8. “Bonus gigabytes”: traffic on top of the Plan volume received without paying: for tasks, for the in-app survey or from the Administration. They are valid until the end of the billing month in which they were received, and if fewer than 7 days of that month were left, for the whole next billing month as well.
2. Subject of the agreement
2.1. The Administration gives the User access to the Service: a secure (encrypted) connection of the User’s device to the internet through the Service’s servers in several countries, on the terms of the chosen Plan. The User accepts the access and, if a paid Plan is chosen, pays for it.
2.2. You connect with the UnitVPN app for Android and Windows; on iPhone, iPad and Mac with the third-party Happ app and the subscription link from the account area; on Linux with compatible programs using the same link. The list of countries and servers is shown in the app and may change.
2.3. The Service encrypts traffic between the device and the server and changes the address the device uses on the internet. The Service does not make the User anonymous and does not guarantee that a particular site or app will work with the connection on.
2.4. The free tools on the site (IP address, speed and ping checks, password generator and others) are provided as is and free of charge.
2.5. This agreement is a public offer under article 437 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. Its text is always available at unitvpn.org/terms, with a link at the bottom of every page of the site.
3. Accepting the agreement
3.1. The agreement is accepted (under article 438 of the Civil Code) when you create an Account and tick your consent to it, sign in with Google with the same consent, or pay for any service of the Service.
3.2. By accepting it you confirm that you have read it and the Privacy policy and agree with them. Consent to the processing of personal data is given separately, with its own tick at sign-up.
3.3. If you are under 18, you may use paid services with the consent of a parent or another legal guardian. If you are under 14, a parent or legal guardian accepts the agreement and consents to data processing.
3.4. The agreement is in force while you have an Account or use the Service.
4. Plans and prices
4.1. Current Plans:
- Free: free, 2 GB of traffic a month, 1 device, one server in each foreign country of the main list and their CDN versions. The free Plan needs a confirmed email or a linked Telegram.
- Premium: 149 ₽ a month, 50 GB of traffic a month, up to 3 devices, all servers of the main list.
- Ultra: 349 ₽ a month, 500 GB of traffic a month, up to 5 devices, all servers of the main list.
- Full: 549 ₽ a month, 1 TB of traffic a month, up to 10 devices, all servers of the main list.
4.2. A paid Plan is paid for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. The cost is the monthly price times the number of months.
4.3. An extra device on a paid Plan costs 50 ₽ per slot per month on top of the Plan limit. The slot lasts one month from payment and only while the paid Plan is active.
4.4. Traffic is counted per billing month (30 days); the date the next one starts is shown in the account area. Bonus gigabytes are added to the Plan volume. If the traffic runs out earlier, the connection pauses until that date, until you switch to a Plan with more traffic or until you receive bonus gigabytes.
4.5. The free Plan volume of 2 GB applies to billing months that started on or after 20 October 2026. A billing month that started earlier keeps the previous 5 GB until it ends.
4.6. Prices are in roubles. The Administration may change Plans and prices: new prices are published on the site in advance, and a period you already paid for does not get more expensive.
5. Balance and payment
5.1. Paid Plans and extra devices are paid from the Balance. You top up the Balance in the account area with 100 to 50,000 ₽ per payment.
5.2. Top-ups are accepted by a payment agent acting under a contract with the Administration. The available payment methods, such as the Faster Payments System (SBP) by QR code or by a link through your banking app, are shown on the payment page. You enter card or bank details on the agent’s or bank’s side; the Administration neither receives nor stores them.
5.3. A top-up counts as paid once the payment agent confirms the payment. After confirmation the money appears on the Balance.
5.4. Before a manual purchase, the account area and the app show the exact cost and the date until which the purchase is active. Money is charged after you confirm the payment.
5.5. Auto-renewal from the Balance is off by default and is enabled by separate consent in the account area or the app. The paid Plan and the maximum price for one month are shown before consent is given. A day before the term ends, this Plan is renewed for one month at the current price, no higher than the agreed amount, only if there is enough money on the Balance. If the price drops, the lower amount is charged. No automatic charges are made to a card or bank account.
5.6. If the Plan changes or its price exceeds the agreed amount, auto-renewal is turned off. To continue, you must enable it again and confirm the new terms. If there is not enough money, the Service tells you how much to add and retries after a top-up within three days after the term ends. If renewal has not succeeded by then, auto-renewal is turned off and must be enabled again. You can turn it off yourself in one click. The free Plan and Plans unavailable for purchase are not renewed automatically. Time given by the team or as a gift does not itself enable auto-renewal; renewal of a paid Plan available for purchase requires separate consent.
5.7. Every top-up and every charge to the Balance is shown in “Payment history” in the account area.
5.8. The Balance cannot be passed to another person or exchanged for anything other than services of the Service. An unspent balance is refunded under section 7.
5.9. Bonus days and bonus gigabytes are not money: they cannot be withdrawn, refunded in money or transferred.
5.10. A subscription can be paid for as a gift when this option is open in the account area. The Administration issues a code; each code works once, and the gift period starts when the recipient enters the code.
6. How the service is provided
6.1. The service is digital and provided over the internet. Access under a paid Plan opens right after payment from the Balance: the Plan in the Account changes, and the app and the subscription link get the new terms.
6.2. A paid Plan is provided during the paid period. If you already had time left when buying, it is kept. When you switch to another Plan, it is converted by the ratio of the Plans’ monthly prices, and the account area shows the result before payment.
6.3. When the paid period ends, the Account moves to the free Plan. Account data is not deleted.
6.4. The number of devices in the Account depends on the Plan. You can remove a device from the list in the account area, which frees its slot.
6.5. The Administration may temporarily switch off individual servers for maintenance and warns about it in the app in advance where possible.
6.6. The User provides a device with a supported system and an internet connection.
7. Cancellation and refunds
7.1. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete the Account in the account settings. Deleting it removes the remaining days and the Balance, so if there is money on the Balance or you want a refund, write to support first under this section.
7.2. If a paid Plan or an extra device did not suit you, write to support within 7 days of payment: the Administration refunds the full cost of that purchase.
7.3. After 7 days you can cancel the paid period. The Administration then refunds the cost of the unused full days, calculated in proportion to the price of the period (article 32 of the Russian Consumer Protection Law).
7.4. Unspent money on the Balance is refunded in full on request.
7.5. Bonus days and bonus gigabytes are not compensated in money. A gift code is refunded only while it has not been entered.
7.6. To get a refund, write to the support chat on the site or in the app from your Account (section 14). Money is returned the same way the payment was made, within 10 days of the request. How long it takes to reach your account depends on the bank.
7.7. After a refund the Administration cancels what was refunded: the Plan period or the device slot. The referral bonus for that purchase is cancelled too.
7.8. If access was switched off for breaking the rules of section 8, the cost of the remaining period is not refunded, unless the law requires otherwise.
8. Rules of use
8.1. You may use the Service only lawfully. You must not:
- break the law of the Russian Federation or of the country you are in;
- distribute materials whose distribution breaks the law, malware or fraudulent materials;
- attack other networks and sites, send spam, guess passwords, scan addresses and ports;
- resell access or hand the Account and the subscription link to strangers;
- artificially increase traffic or the number of devices beyond the Plan by technical tricks;
- create several free Accounts to get traffic or bonuses beyond the Plan;
- interfere with the Service or try to get into other people’s Accounts.
8.2. You are responsible for what you do on the internet through the Service and for keeping your password safe. If someone got into your Account, change the password, sign out of other devices in the settings and write to support.
8.3. Use your own email that you can access: it is how you recover sign-in and receive important messages.
8.4. If these rules are broken, the Administration may suspend or switch off access. Where possible, it writes to you first and explains why.
9. Administration rights and duties
9.1. The Administration must: give access under the paid Plan; keep the servers running and fix failures; answer in support; not sell the User’s data or pass it to ad networks; follow the Privacy policy.
9.2. The Administration may: change the set of servers and countries and update the apps; change the agreement under section 13; suspend access under section 8.
9.3. The Administration neither monitors nor stores the content of the User’s traffic or the addresses of the sites the User opens.
10. Intellectual property
10.1. The UnitVPN apps, the site, texts, images of Unit and other materials of the Service belong to the Administration or are used by it under a licence.
10.2. While the agreement is in force you may use the UnitVPN apps on your devices for personal purposes. You may not copy, sell or pass them off as your own.
10.3. Happ and other third-party apps work under the rules of their developers.
11. Liability
11.1. The Administration works to keep the connection stable but does not guarantee uninterrupted work, that particular sites and apps work, or a certain speed: it depends on the User’s network and device and on server load.
11.2. The Administration is not liable for failures it did not cause: the network the User goes online through, the User’s devices and programs, third-party apps, the payment agent and banks, and force majeure.
11.3. If the service was not provided through the Administration’s fault, the Administration extends the period by the length of the interruption or refunds the cost of the part not provided, as the User chooses. The Administration’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the current period, unless the law sets otherwise.
11.4. The User is responsible for their actions through the Service and for following the agreement.
12. Personal data
12.1. The Administration processes the User’s personal data under the Privacy policy. Consent to processing is given separately at sign-up and withdrawn under the rules of the policy.
13. Changes and disputes
13.1. The Administration may change the agreement. A new version is published at this address with its date; about significant changes the Administration warns in advance in the account area or by email.
13.2. Changes do not worsen what is already paid for: the terms of a paid period stay until it ends.
13.3. If you do not agree with a new version, stop using the Service and ask for a refund under section 7.
13.4. Disputes are settled by negotiation. A claim can be sent to the support chat on the site or in the app (section 14); the reply comes within 10 days. If no agreement is reached, the dispute goes to a court under Russian law, including at the consumer’s place of residence.
13.5. The agreement is governed by the law of the Russian Federation.
14. Contacts
14.1. You can reach the Administration in the support chat on the unitvpn.org site and in the UnitVPN app. You can write to the chat after signing in to your Account.
14.2. The same chat takes questions, refund requests (section 7) and claims (section 13).
